We finally did it. Bev, Barb and I finally managed to get our schedules aligned so that we all were able to get together for a mini retreat! Woo-Hoo!!!
We have decided that the best possible way to get our quilting goals accomplished is to have more retreats, more regularly!! But with all our crazy schedules that probably isn’t going to happen anytime soon. 😦
But, at least we had a little time over the weekend, and we’ll take whatever we can get!!
Barb was working on a Dahlia quilt for her grand daughter:
It’s hard to tell what this is going to turn out to be, but the center of the flower is at the lower left and the petals are swirling out from the center. I love the teal colors.
Bev had some brown, cream, red and double pink fabrics that she was making into four patches (foursies)
This photo is of the strip sets, which she will have to sub-cut and then assemble into foursies. I think it’s going to look great!
And I had my stack of Blue and Cheddar blocks to get quilted:
I managed to quilt all of the blocks!!! Wowwie!!
