We Interrupt Your Regular Quilting Schedule

I’m going to be going out with mom today. We are going to the fabric store. Yippee!! There are a few things that I would like to stock up on, so I’m glad to take mom there. Mom wants to go there because she would like to get some fabric for a quilt that she would like to “make” And by “make” she means – have made by someone that she knows that is a quilter!!

Guess who that will be!?!

You guessed it!!

Fortunately it is a fairly straightforward project, so it shouldn’t take too long to get done. Because I certainly have a lot of other quilting that needs to be done!

On another note: I went to quilt meeting last night. BTW – my book didn’t come in the mail yesterday, so I wasn’t able to share it with the group. I also wasn’t able to drool over it! 😦

Anyway, at the meeting our president had brought in the finished raffle quilt that we had been working on earlier this year.

Isn’t it gorgeous? If I don’t win this, I’m going to have to make one like it!!

I took my #4 donation quilt to add to the pile.

This is one quilt which I made reversible. We had a total of 14 donation quilts to give to the local woman’s shelter.

I took pictures of everyone’s show and tell. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be able to keep still and most of the photos are blurry.

Joan made this adorable frog quilt for her grandson, because he is so much like a frog (she said it, not me!)

Mona made this one. She fussy cut animal prints for the centers of the blocks. I really like the colors in this one.

Well, I better get moving. I’ve got to meet mom in an hour and I still have some things I need to take care of before I leave here this morning.
